Now here’s the interesting part, we’ll uncover the skincare secrets that’ll enhance your natural beauty and give your mature skin the love it deserves. Buckle up for a journey of self-care and self-love that will leave you glowing, confident, and embracing the beauty of every chapter of your life.
Ingredient 1: Retinoids for Youthful Radiance
Retinoids, are a type of Vitamin A that have shown to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots. They also help to increase collagen production and improve your skin texture. But, they can be irritating to the skin, so it's important to start with a low concentration and increase over time.
Ingredient 2: Hyaluronic Acid for Nourishing Hydration
It’s a natural substance found in our skin that helps to keep moisture. As we age, our skin's ability to produce hyaluronic acid decreases, which can lead to dryness and fine lines. Skincare products containing hyaluronic acid can help to hydrate your skin and restoring skin elasticity
That’s why we created Boost Creme, this cream will quench your skin's thirst, leaving it plump, smooth, and radiant.
Ingredient 3: Peptides for Firmer, Plumper Skin
Peptides are small chains of amino acids that help to stimulate collagen production and improve skin elasticity. They can also help to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
If you need help to stimulate collagen production and improve the appearance of your fine lines and wrinkles check out our Copper Tri Peptide Serum as it contains a blend of peptides and other skin nurturing ingredients.
Ingredient 4: Antioxidants for Age-Defying Protection
Antioxidants such as Vitamin C and E, green tea extract, and coenzyme Q10 can help to protect your skin from damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are unstable molecules that can cause oxidative stress in the skin, leading to premature aging.
At Stemulation, we use an expansive antioxidant panel in all our products to deliver potent and effective formulations that go beyond a single antioxidant and provides a broader range of benefits for your skin
Ingredient 5: Ceramides for a Healthy Skin Barrier
Ceramides are a type of lipid that are naturally found in the skin's barrier. They help to keep the skin hydrated and protect it from environmental stressors. Skincare products containing ceramides can help to improve the skin's barrier function and reduce dryness and irritation
Enhance your skin's barrier function and reduce dryness and irritation with Liquid Gold Facial Serum which contains a blend of ceramides, fatty acids, and other ingredients.
There you have it, lovely! Embracing the journey of aging gracefully starts with incorporating these five powerhouse ingredients into your skincare routine.
And on top of that, at Stemulation we focus on formulating products using the highest quality ingredients to support the cellular structure and produce healthy, vibrant skin. Our goal is not to STOP THE CLOCK but to embrace it and help with aging beautifully.
With age comes wisdom and an understanding of your worth; things that we only aspire to in our youth. We encourage women of all ages to use Stemulation, because just like working out or healthy eating habits, we know that the younger we put in place these into our lifestyle the better it is for us in the long run, along with being easier to establish and stay with it.
I appreciate the well-earned smile lines, and those that came from tears as well. I never want to look tired and haggard, but I do not want to be expressionless either. While I welcome an opportunity to visit my cosmetic dermatologist for a little help, I am happy that Stemulation helps me to age gracefully, feeling healthy and vibrant.
No matter what procedure you might explore to tighten and lift the effects of gravity, the condition of your skin tissue is the bottom line on how your skin will look. If it is dull and lifeless, without any lines, it’s not your best reflection.
From someone that has fought dry, flaky, and sensitive skin since childhood, Stemulation was life changing for me.
I hope that you will try it and that it makes a huge difference in your appearance, but most importantly, I hope that it impacts how you feel about your skin!!
Beauty and Blessings,
Laurie

As we age, the appearance of our skin may change, but that doesn't mean we should feel any less vibrant or confident in our own skin. I admit that I submitted to the pressure of using industry familiar terms like “anti-aging” even though I was adamantly against it and all it implied. However, thanks to Nancy Griffin, principal of spa and wellness marketing firm Contento Marketing, long-time colleague and friend launched the “Expose Ageism” movement that we found the courage to stand against these negative terms and marketing psychology. At Stemulation Skin Care, we are taking a stand against ageism and promoting healthy, glowing skin at every age.
We believe that the term "anti-aging" is not only misleading, but it also perpetuates the idea that aging is something to be feared or avoided. We believe aging is an honor, a gift that should be cherished. With age comes wisdom and inner peace, and we want to promote the idea that beauty and confidence come from within, regardless of age. We like to think of it as aging elegance.
At Stemulation, we use bio-identical stem cell growth factors, antioxidants, and proven peptides to support healthy tissue and new skin development. Our ingredients help to firm the skin and reduce the look of tired skin, but we never make promises that our products will make you look 10 or 20 years younger. Our goal is to help you have the healthiest, prettiest skin possible at every age. While we do use models of all ages to represent our belief that taking care of your skin should start young, we also believe that age is something to be respected.
Our products are designed to nourish and support your skin at every stage of life, from the delicate, reactive skin of our youth to the mature, sensitive skin of an older adults. We believe that by taking care of your skin, you are investing in your overall health and wellbeing. Our skincare line includes products such as our hero serums like Stemulation Liquid Gold Facial Serum, Hi Impact, and Elevate Eye Serum, to our selection of hydrators and treatment creams like Drench Daily Hydration, Diamond Neckless and Relance Body Lotion, all designed to help you achieve healthy, glowing skin.
At Stemulation Skin Care, we are passionate about promoting beauty, confidence, and self-love at every age. We want to empower women to embrace their natural beauty and to feel confident in their own skin, no matter the number of birthdays they’ve had. We believe that by promoting healthy, vibrant skin, we can help women feel confident and beautiful at every stage of life.
Aging is something to be celebrated, not dreaded. We encourage women to take care of their skin and to embrace their natural beauty. At Stemulation Skin Care, we are committed to promoting healthy, vibrant skin and empowering women to feel confident and beautiful at every stage of life.

Did you know that dry skin creates a skin barrier that prevents your skin from absorbing nutrients? Not only does this make it exceedingly difficult for your skin care to work its magic, but dry skin exaggerates the effect of gravity and causes the grace of aging fine lines to become deep crevasses AKA … Wrinkles!
By exfoliating away the top layer of the dermis you are accomplishing more than you know. It truly is the key to supple more refreshed and rejuvenated skin.
Our bodies protective response to the impact of environmental forces such as weather and changing climates, pollutants, poor diet, and low water intake is to create a barrier to protect from these element which causes undue damage to our health.
But healthy skin needs to be “stimulated” to produce new cells by promoting cell turnover. Once we reach adulthood our cell turnover slows to a crawl at 7 weeks. Because of this we need to help promote cell turn over.
Physical exfoliation
Clearing the pathways of dry lifeless skin, not only immediately improves the appearance of your skin but it allows your treatment serums like Liquid Gold, Copper Tri-Peptide and Hi-Impact absorb more completely allowing your serums to perform at their maximum efficacy.
Listen to your skin. If you tend to be on the dry side, and you’re not too aggressive in your physical exfoliation, you can exfoliate daily. However, if you have an oilier complexation, once or twice a week is a good rule of thumb. Exfoliating too often with an oily complexation can over stimulate the sebaceous glands and irritate the skin or cause breakouts.
In conclusion, the best way to rejuvenate your skin is to exfoliate. By desecrating and removing the dry lifeless skin you force the body to actively produce new cells. If you are feeding your skin nutrients and peptides through your treatments serums and nurturing your skin with plenty of water and healthy foods, you will be amazed at how quickly you will see results.
The foundation of the Stemulation Skin Care line is steeped in the science of stem cell growth factors. So what are they and why are they important in skin care?
Stem cell growth factors are naturally present in our bodies and they function as the messaging signal telling our healthy cells how to perform.
In the case of an injury, the growth factors produced by stem cells encourage and “stemulate” healing and yes, growth as in new healthy skin tissue.

Stem cell growth factors are naturally present in our bodies and they function as the messaging signal telling our healthy cells how to perform.
In the case of an injury, the growth factors produced by stem cells encourage and “stemulate” healing and yes, growth of new healthy skin tissue.
Growth factors support the repair of damaged skin by encouraging collagen synthesis. Growth factors contribute to the elements necessary for strong supple tissue with elasticity and firmness.
At Stemulation, we use bio-identical growth factors. These growth factors or specifically epidermal growth factors (EGF’s), are produced in a pharmaceutical lab and emulate the functionality of the stem cells.
We are born with an abundance of stem cells. They are necessary for our growth and development. In our youth, we could fall down on the playground and the following day the wound would be scabbed over, because of the abundance of stem cell growth factors present in the body. But as we reach adulthood our stem cells have diminished: and the balance of our stem cells are specifically reserved for trauma to the body. Ever notice how that little paper cut is still tender days later? It certainly isn’t life threatening and in turn the body sparingly sends out the growth factors necessary to activate the healing.
The science behind Stemulation is the ability to reintroduce these critical growth factors topically. We use aloe vera as a carrier due to its amazing ability to penetrate the skin barrier allowing these growth factors to work effectively. Where water evaporates and is unable to assist the growth factors in the absorption process, aloe vera is the perfect conduit for the growth factors to work their magic sue to its molecular weight and high absorption capacity .
Our serums all feature growth factors and peptides to activate the healing properties defined by the serum objectives and your personal preferences.
To achieve maximum results we use a two prong approach. The first vital step in your skin vibrancy journey is exfoliation. Exfoliation is so important to good skin health because it removes the dry skin layer that builds up daily due to being bombarded by the elements, free radicals and environmental influences. By refreshing and removing the dull lifeless skin, you open up the pathways allowing better penetration of the nourishment provided by your treatment serums. Applying the valuable and pricy ingredients of treatment serums without prepping the skin can be wasteful and may make it more challenging for your treatment serum to achieve the best results.
We offer two versions of scrubs for home care.
You may choose to have a variety of esthetic treatments done by your skin care professional including light therapies, microderm abrasion and lasers that accelerate the cell turn-over process.
The cell turnover not only opens the pathways for your treatment serum and nourishment, it activates a deeper activation of collagen and elastin production.
So, if you are looking to take your skin care to the next level, remember to exfoliate and consider adding treatment serums to nurture your skin. And finally, discuss a scrub routine or explore alternative methods with your skin care professional to achieve maximum results.
]]>What makes facial serums so important to your regimen? Above all else, serums are the work horses of your skin care routine. Serums are usually loaded with active ingredients which give you the best results and the most bang for your buck. They are lightweight in nature which allows their active ingredients to penetrate deeper into the skin tissue and in turn, have the most visible, age-defying effects.
When do you apply a serum, and does it even matter the order in which you do? The short answer is first and absolutely YES. If you want to get the most out of your skin care products, apply them thinnest to thickest! Apply serum as the first layer to your routine after cleansing and toning. But what if you are using more than one serum? Generally, the sequence doesn’t matter between serums -- it is just preference. For example, if you are using Stemulation Skin Care products and you are starting with your foundation of Liquid Gold, you can then apply Elevate Eye Serum, immediately after. After your serum application, apply your moisturizer or face oils followed by your makeup and/or sunscreen.
Why use serums in the first place? Because we want vibrant healthy skin at every age! Clean clinical skin care is the best defense against free radicals and harmful pollutants that accelerate the aging process. But a more difficult question to answer might be WHICH?
Liquid Gold is our HERO serum! Stemulation Facial Serum is the foundation of our line. After years of happy clients referring to this serum as liquid gold, we followed their lead and renamed the product on their reviews. This is the one Stemulation Serum you just can’t do without!

When winter weather rolls around, the challenge to stay hydrated inside and out becomes paramount to healthy skin. Our bodies are 70% water so it makes sense that drinking water is one of the most important things we can do to help our bodies function well. Dry cold air outside and heaters inside zaps the moisture out of our skin. So, here are a few tips for you to weather the winter season.
Tip #1 Proper Hydration
pound you weigh. If you are planning to work out, you should drink an additional 12 oz of water 1-2 hours before and a second 12 oz 30 minutes after. Penn Medicine additionally warns that while it is rare, you can drink too much water which can cause an imbalance between water and electrolytes. While water consumption is recommended - it is not a perfect science. Listen to your body is the best policy.
Tip #2 Exfoliate
Exfoliation purges dead skin cells, that if left unaddressed, form a barrier of dry rough skin that builds up and creates calluses. It wouldn’t be winter without the occasional cracked heel. But what form of exfoliation is best?
There are so many choices: chemical peels, enzyme peels, dermal-planning, microdermabrasion, AHA’s (alpha hydroxy acids), lactic acids, retinol, glycolic, acid washes and scrubs of every variation. You should use caution when exfoliating particularly with inflamed skin. Over stimulation can exasperate the problem rather than help, so be sure you check with your dermatologist if you are currently under care.
Exfoliation rids the body of the dead skin that creates a skin barrier preventing proper absorption of your creams and serums. You spend good money on active ingredients, so proper exfoliation will guarantee you see the benefit.
Best at-home treatment protocols are a combination of an AHA cream or treatment followed by a good scrub. We use lactic acid in our Boost Crème and in our Rescue Repair to promote cell turnover. We have two scrub options to choose from - Daily Micro Derm Scrub is our most gentle and Nitty Gritty if you prefer something a little more aggressive but can still be used daily. As noted, if you are suffering from an inflamed skin condition, check with your professional to determine your best regiment.
If you get milia, the dry skin flakes that get trapped under the skin that cause little white bump most commonly on the back of your arms and around your nose, a combination of a scrub followed by an AHA treatment cream can work wonders.
WARNING: Exfoliation – can cause sun sensitivity so be cautious and always wear a sunscreen.
Tip #3 Moisturize
Not ALL moisturizers are created equal. Read the ingredient declarations on the packaging. Look for ingredients that have healing properties, like Aloe Vera which is known for its anti-inflammatory benefits. Hyaluronic Acid is an excellent source for hydration and provides additional benefits of plumping up the cells for a more youthful appearance. Shea butters, coconut oils and other natural oils like avocado can be great if you are just seeking hydration.
Note that the higher an ingredient is listed on the ingredient declaration the higher the concentration of that ingredient is in the product.
Stemulation products are known for their efficacy and feature a higher percentage of active ingredients. Rescue Repair is my personal go-to when the weather gets cold.
Tip # 4 Wrap it Up
When it gets cold and dry outside, a good pair of winter gloves go a long way to keeping your hands protected from the elements. Getting into the habit of keeping a pair of gloves in your coat pocket will certainly help ward off the effects of the harsh winter weather.
If you live in snow country, it probably goes without saying, but for those of us that live in more moderate climates, it’s a good practice to always wear gloves. The secret is to find a pair that you like that offer the high-tech fingers tips that truly work. It becomes essential so test them before your buy.
While most of us are sick of wearing masks and gators, there is an additional benefit to keeping your mouth covered. Lipsticks have taken a hit in 2020 unless you’ve been wearing a smudge proof lip stain, even so you may still want to apply a good quality chap-stick to keep your lips supple. Lips can benefit from a little exfoliation as well.
And if all of this is just too much to deal with, we have one more idea on how to avoid these winter hardships… take a vacation to the tropics. 🌴🍹 ☀️
If you have been paying attention to the latest skin care craze then you have probably heard of Copper Peptide. But what is it and how does it affect the skin?
First of all it is a powerful antioxidant that stimulates the production of glycosaminoglycans like hyaluronic acid and it activates the production of collagen and elastin.
Collagen and elastin are the essential weave that supports the skin tissue and retains its supple youthful appearance. When the weave of collagen and elastin breaks down or deteriorates, it causes the skin to sag and loose its vitality.
Copper peptide is recognized by dermatologists and estheticians alike for its healing properties. Copper peptide is known to remove damaged collagen and elastin increasing the strength of the “weave” or skin tissue and has proven results in the treatment of scaring and hyperpigmentation.
Some dermatologists recommend that copper peptide serums are not used in conjunction with a strong vitamin C serum for fear of over dosing, but each case is different and if you are concerned, ALWAYS consult your doctor.
Copper Peptide is classified as a skin retexturizer as its primary purpose. That’s because of the associated benefits in the activation of critical cell activity. The increase in collagen and elastin strengthens the skin and the glycosaminoglycans reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and promote necessary moisture retention for a supple youthful glow.
Copper Peptide is known to “normalize” the skin’s microbiome (good bacteria) and reduce the affect the surface bacteria that causes breakouts.
If these are specific concerns of yours, we have added our Copper Tri-Peptide with EGF’s (epidermal growth factors) to the Stemulation line.
If you would like to try it for yourself, we invite you to enjoy a $10 savings with the coupon code COPPER.
]]>With the fear of germs and contamination caused by the pandemic, we have all been wearing mask to comply with the health advisory. Unfortunately, this has its own issues, so here are s few tips to reduce breakouts.
Washing your face has never been more important. Use a cleanser that will remove impurities without being too harsh to irritating! When the skin is stripped of it from its natural oils, the skin overproduces oil -- making breakouts even more likely.
Tip #4
Kill Surface Bacteria
Using a toner after cleansing like our AHA Balancing Toner will help kill surface bacteria while bringing the skin's pH levels back to neutral.
Other product that control surface bacteria are:
Refining Boost Night Creme
